ከእነዚህ ቪዲዮዎች መካከል ስምንቱ እስረኞችን እንደሚያሳይ ማረጋገጥ ችሏል።

የእስራኤል መከላከያ ኃይል በዚህ ድርጊት ተሳትፈዋል በሚል ከለያቸው ተጠባባቂ ወታደሮች መካከል አንዱን ከአገልግሎት ማገዱን የገለጸ ሲሆን እንደዚህ ያሉ ቪዲዮዎች እሴቶቼን አይወክሉም ብሏል።

ሆኖም ቢቢሲ በዚህ ላይ ተጨማሪ አስተያየት ቢጠይቅም ምላሽ አላገኘም።

በተባበሩት መንግሥታት የዓለም አቀፍ ወንጀሎች ፍርድ ቤት ዋና አማካሪ የሆኑት ዶክተር ማርክ ኤሊስ እንዳሉት ቪዲዮዎቹ የጦር እስረኞች አያያዝን በተመለከተ የተደነገጉትን ሕጎች ሊጥሱ ይችላሉ።

Videos filmed by Israeli soldiers and posted on the internet showing Gaza prisoners naked, handcuffed and blindfolded may violate international law, legal experts say.

International law says that prisoners should not be exposed to humiliation and public scrutiny.

The BBC has seen hundreds of videos publicly shared by Israeli soldiers in Gaza since November 2023.

He was able to confirm that eight of these videos showed inmates.

The Israel Defense Forces said it had suspended one of its reservists for participating in the act, saying that such videos do not represent its values.

However, the BBC did not receive a response to requests for further comment on the matter.

Dr. Mark Ellis, chief counsel at the United Nations’ International Criminal Court, said the videos could violate laws governing the treatment of prisoners of war.
