ከፍተኛ የውጭ ጉዳይ መሥሪያ ቤት ባለሥልጣናትን ጨምሮ የተለያዩ የአሜሪካ መንግሥት የባለሥልጣናት ቡድን ከነገ ሰኞ ጀምሮ ለቀናት በአዲስ አበባ እንደሚቆይ ተገለጸ።

ለስድስየአፍሪካ ኅብረት ጉባዔን አስታኮ ወደ አዲስ አበባ የሚመጣው የአሜሪካ መንግሥት ከፍተኛ ባለሥልጣናት የተካተቱበት ልዑክ በቆይታው ከኢትዮጵያ ባለሥልጣናት ጋር እንደሚወያይ ታውቋል።

ባለፉት ዓመታት በተደጋጋሚ ወደ አዲስ አበባ ሲመላለሱ የነበሩት የአሜሪካ የውጭ ጉዳይ የአፍሪካ ጉዳዮች ረዳት ፀሐፊ የሆኑት ሞሊ ፊ እና በአፍሪካ ቀንድ የአሜሪካ ልዩ መልዕክተኛው አምባሳደር ማይክ ሐመር በልዑኩ ውስጥ ይገኛሉ።

ሞሊ ፊ በአዲስ አበባ በሚኖራቸው ቆይታ በሁለትዮሽ እና በቀጠናዊ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ ከኢትዮጵያ ባለሥልጣናት ጋር ተገናኝተው እንደሚወያዩ የአሜሪካ የውጭ ጉዳይ መሥሪያ ቤት አመልክቷል።

It has been announced that a group of US government officials, including senior foreign office officials, will stay in Addis Ababa for a few days starting tomorrow Monday.

It is known that the delegation of the US government, which is coming to Addis Ababa for the Sixth African Union Summit, will hold talks with the Ethiopian authorities during their stay.

Molly Fee, the assistant secretary of the US Department of State for African Affairs, who has visited Addis Ababa frequently in the past years, and Mike Hamer, the US special envoy to the Horn of Africa, are in the delegation.

The US State Department has indicated that Molly Fee will meet with Ethiopian officials during her stay in Addis Ababa to discuss bilateral and regional issues.
