ዩናይትድ ኪንግደም (ዩኬ) በበኩሏ የምዕራባውያን አገራቱ እርምጃውን የወሰዱት የሁቲ ታጣቂዎችን ጥቃት የፈጸም አቅምን “የበለጠ ለማዳከም” ነው ብላለች።

በኢራን የሚደገፉት ሁቲዎች ለባሕር ንግድ እንቅስቃሴ ወሳኝ በሆነው በቀይ ባሕር በሚንቀሳቀሱ በመርከቦች ላይ ጥቃቶችን ሲፈጽሙ ቆይተዋል።

የየመን ዋና ከተማ ሰንዓን ጨምሮ ሰፊ የአገሪቱን ግዛት የሚቆጣጠሩት ሁቲዎች ጋዛ ውስጥ እየተካሄደ ባለው ጦርነት ምክንያት ለፍልስጤማውያን ያላቸውን ድጋድ ለማሳየት የእስራኤል እና የምዕራባውያን የሚሏቸውን መርከቦች ኢላማ እንደሚያደርጉ ገልጸዋል።

US and UK warplanes have attacked 18 Houthi positions in Yemen, the Pentagon announced.

This is the fourth time that the two countries have carried out the same attack together, and the US has announced that they have targeted Houthi warehouses, drones and anti-aircraft defense structures, as well as helicopters used by the militants.

The United Kingdom (UK), for its part, said the western countries took the action to “further weaken” the ability of Houthi militants to carry out attacks.

The Iran-backed Houthis have been carrying out attacks on ships in the Red Sea, which is vital for maritime trade.

The Houthis, who control a large part of Yemen’s territory, including Sana’a, the capital, said they would target Israeli and Western ships to show their support for the Palestinians due to the ongoing war in Gaza.

The Houthi attack on the Red Sea has caused major shipping lines to change routes, disrupting supply in global trade and raising prices.
