በኢትዮጵያ ላለው የከፋ የሰብዓዊ ቀውስ ምላሽ ለመስጠት በኢትዮጵያ መንግሥት እና ዓለም አቀፍ አጋሮች በተጠራው የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ ሥነ ሥርዓት 610 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ተሰበሰበ።

ትናንት ሚያዚያ 8/2016 ዓ.ም. ጄኔቫ በተካሄደ ሥነ ሥርዓት ለ15.5 ሚሊዮን ኢትዮጵያውያን ሕይወት አድን ድጋፍ ለማድረግ 3.24 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ለመሰብሰብ ታቅዶ ነበር።

ይሁን እንጂ ከ21 ለጋሾች ማሰባሰብ የተቻለው 610 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ብቻ ነው።

የገንዘብ መዋጮውን ሥነ ሥርዓት ያዘጋጁት የኢትዮጵያ እና የዩናይትድ ኪንግደም መንግሥት እንዲሁም የተባበሩት መንግሥታት የተለያዩ አካላት ለቀረበው የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ጥሪ አዎንታዊ ምላሽ እንደሚሰጡ እንጠብቃለን ብለው ነበር።

የተባበሩት መንግሥታት የሰብዓዊ ጉዳዮች ረዳት ዋና ፀሐፊ ጆይስ ምሱያ 20 መንግሥታት 630 ሚሊዮን ለመስጠት ቃል መግባታቸውን ገልጸዋል።

ቀደም ሲል ዩናይትድ ኪንግደም 125 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ድጋፍ እንደምታደርግ አስታውቃ ነበር።

የኢትዮጵያ ፌደራል መንግሥት በበኩሉ ለዜጎቹ የምግብ ድጋፍ ለማድረግ 250 ሚሊዮን ዶላር መድቢያለሁ ብሏል።

አሜሪካ ደግሞ 154 ሚሊዮን ዶላር እሰጣለሁ ብላለች።

የአውሮፓ ኅብረት ደግሞ የኅብረቱ አባላ አገራት 139 ሚሊዮን ዶላር ይለግሳሉ ብሏል።

In order to respond to the worst humanitarian crisis in Ethiopia, 610 million dollars were collected in the fundraising ceremony called by the Ethiopian government and international partners.

Yesterday April 8/2016 In a ceremony held in Geneva, it was planned to raise 3.24 billion dollars to support the life saving of 15.5 million Ethiopians.

However, only $610 million was raised from 21 donors.

The government of Ethiopia and the United Kingdom, as well as the various bodies of the United Nations, who organized the financial contribution ceremony, said that they expect that they will respond positively to the call for financial support.

United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Joyce Msuya stated that 20 countries have pledged to give 630 million.

Earlier, the United Kingdom announced that it would provide $125 million in aid.

The federal government of Ethiopia said it will allocate 250 million dollars to provide food aid to its citizens.

America said it will give 154 million dollars.

The European Union said that the member countries of the Union will donate 139 million dollars.
