የእስራኤል መከላከያ ሠራዊት የባለሥልጣኑን ተተኪ ከተመረጠ በኋላ ሜጀር ጄኔራል አሮን ሃሊቫ ጡረታ እንደሚወጡ አስታውቋል።

የወታደራዊ ደኅንነት ኃላፊው “የተሰጠንን አደራ በአግባቡ አልተወጣንም” ሲሉ በሥራ መልቀቂያ ደብዳቤያቸው አምነዋል።

ሜጀር ጄኔራል አሮን ሃሊቫ በእስራኤል ታሪክ እጅግ አስከፊ በተባለው የሐማስ ጥቃት ምክንያት ከሥልጣን የለቀቁ የመጀመሪያው ከፍተኛ ባለሥልጣን ናቸው።

The Israel Defense Forces announced that Major General Aron Haliva will retire after a successor is selected.

The head of military security admitted in his resignation letter that “we did not fulfill the mandate given to us”.

Major General Aron Haliva is the first senior official to resign in the wake of the worst Hamas attack in Israel’s history.
