The army announced that it had “investigated” bodies buried by Palestinians on suspicion of hostages during a two-week operation at a hospital in Yunis.

He said that 10 hostages who were freed were detained in Nasser Hospital for a long time.

Colleagues of the hospital stated that before the Israeli army’s operation in Nasser, they were forced to bury bodies in the hospital’s premises because they could not go to the cemeteries due to the war in the area.

The Israeli army has raided several hospitals in Gaza because Hamas fighters are operating in them, but the militant group and medical officials deny this.

The war began after Hamas militants crossed the southern Israeli border on September 26, killing about 1,200 people and abducting 253 people to Gaza.

Following the war, more than 34,180 people, mostly children and women, have been killed in Gaza, according to the Hamas-led Ministry of Health.
