የአገሪቷ መገናኛ ብዙኃን እንደዘገቡት ጥቃቱ የተፈፀመው ከዋና መዲናዋ በስተ ምሥራቅ በሚገኘው ዛይን ሰፈር አርብ ዕለት ነው።

የኢራቅ የውስጥ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር በማኅበራዊ ሚዲያ ገጾች ዝነኛ የሆነችው ግለሰብ ‘ባልታወቁ ታጣቂዎች’ መገደሏን ባወጣው መግለጫ አረጋግጧል።

የግለሰቧን አሟሟት ለመመርመርም ልዩ የምርመራ ቡድን መሰማራቱን ሚኒስቴሩ ገልጿል።

በመዝገብ ስሟ ጉፍራን ሳዋዲ የተባለችውና በማኅበራዊ ሚዲያ ገጾቿ ፋሃድ በሚል መጠሪያ የምትታወቀው ሴት ብቻውን ሞተር ሳይክል እያሽከረከረ በነበረ ግለሰብ መኪናዋ ውስጥ ሳለች በተተኮሰባት ጥይት እንደተገደለች ተዘግቧል።

አንድ የኢራቅ የደኅንነት ምንጭ ለኤኤፍፒ የዜና ወኪል እንደተናገሩት ጥቃት ፈፃሚው ምግብ አድራሽ እንደሆነ ሲያስመስል ነበር።

ባለቤትነቱ የአሜሪካ የሆነው አል ሁራ የዜና ወኪል በበኩሉ በዚህ ጥቃት ሌላ ሴትም ላይ ጉዳት መድረሱን ዘግቧል።

Iraqi social media influencer Om Fahad was shot dead outside her home in Baghdad.

According to the country’s media, the attack took place in the Zain neighborhood east of the capital on Friday.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior confirmed in a statement that the social media star was killed by ‘unknown gunmen’.

The ministry said that a special investigation team has been deployed to investigate her death.

It has been reported that a woman whose registered name is Gufran Sawadi and who is known as Fahad on her social media pages was shot dead by a person who was riding a motorcycle alone while she was in her car.

An Iraqi security source told the AFP news agency that the attacker was posing as a caterer.

The American-owned Al-Hura news agency reported that another woman was injured in the attack.
