የእስራኤል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ቤንያሚን ናታንያሁ በቅርቡ በደቡባዊ ጋዛ፣ ራፋህ ከተማ ላይ አዲስ ወረራ እንፈጽማለን አሉ።

ናታንያሁ ይህን በራፋህ ላይ የታቀደው ዘመቻ “ከሐማስ ጋር የተኩስ አቁም ስምምነት ላይ ብንደርስም ባንደርስም የማይቀር ጉዳይ ነው” ብለዋል።

ሐማስና እስራኤል ከመጋረጃ ጀርባ እያደረጉ ያሉት ድርድር ተስፋ እያሳየ መምጣቱ በሚነገርበት ወቅት ነው ናታንያሁ ይህን ያሉት።

ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ ይህን ጽኑ አቋማቸውን በሐማስ ቤተሰቦቻቸው የታገቱባቸው እስራኤላዊያን ጋር በነበራቸው ውይይት ነው ይፋ ያደረጉት።

“ራፋህ ከተማን ከመውረር የሚመልሰን ምንም ስምምነት አይኖርም።” ብለዋል።

የእስራኤል የምንጊዜም አጋር የሆነችው አሜሪካ ራፋህ ላይ የሚደረገው ወረራ እንዲቀር ትፈልጋለች።

ናታንያሁ ግን የጆ ባይደንን ተማጽኖና ማስጠንቀቂያ ቸል ያሉት ይመስላሉ።

ዋይት ሐውስ ከሰሞኑ ባወጣው መግለጫ ጆ ባይደን እሑድ ዕለት በነበራቸው የስልክ ጥሪ ራፋህ ላይ የሚደረግ ወረራን አሜሪካ እንደማትደግፍ ለናታንያሁ በማያወላዳ ሁኔታ ገልጸውላቸዋል።

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he will soon launch a new offensive against the southern Gaza city of Rafah.

Netanyahu said the planned operation against Rafah is “inevitable whether or not we reach a cease-fire agreement with Hamas.”

Netanyahu said this at a time when it is said that the negotiations between Hamas and Israel are showing promise.

The Prime Minister announced this firm position in a discussion with the Israelis whose families were kidnapped by Hamas.

“There will be no deal that will keep us from occupying Rafah City.” He said.

America, Israel’s longtime ally, wants the raid on Rafah to stop.

But Netanyahu seems to have ignored Joe Biden’s pleas and warnings.

In a recent White House statement, Joe Biden unequivocally told Netanyahu that the US would not support an invasion of Rafah in a phone call on Sunday.
