የዩክሬን ፕሬዝደንት ቮሎድሚር ዜሌንስኪ ሩሲያ በቅርቡ የኻርኪቭ ከተማን መቆጣጠሯን ተከትሎ በሰሜን ምስራቅ የሀገሪቱ ክፍል ጥቃቷን ልታጠናከር እንደምትችል አሳስበዋል።

የጦር መሣሪያ እጥረት ያጋጠማቸው የዩክሬን ወታደሮች እየገሰገሱ እየመጡ ያሉ የሩሲያ ወታደሮችን መቋቋም አቅቷቸዋል።

ዜሌንስኪ፤ የጦር ሠራዊት ሞራል እና ቁሳቁስ እንዳጠረው አምነው በርካታ ብርጌዶች አሁን ባዶ ሆነዋል ብለዋል።

ኤኤፍፒ ለተሰኘው የዜና ወኪል ድምፃቸውን የሰጡት ፕሬዝደንቱ የሀገሪቱ አየር ኃይል እንደተመናመነ አሳውቀው አጋር ሀገራት ተጨማሪ የአየር መከላከያ እና ተዋጊ ጄቶች እንዲልኩ ተማፅነዋል።

“ዩክሬንን ለመከላከል ከሚያስፈልገን አቅም አሁን ያለን 25 በመቶው ብቻ ነው” ሲሉ ስለአየር ኃይሉ ተናግረዋል።

“ሩሲያ በአየር ኃይል እንዳትበልጠን ቢያንስ 120 አሊያም 130 ዘመናዊ ጄቶች ያስፈልጉናል” ብለዋል።

ዩናይትድ ስቴትስ በቅርቡ የጦር መሣሪያ እርዳታን ጨምሮ 61 ቢሊዮን ዶላር ድጋፍ ለዩክሬን ማድረጓ ይታወሳል።
