የጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ የብሔራዊ ደኅንነት አማካሪ የነበሩት አምባሳደር ሬድዋን ሁሴን የብሔራዊ መረጃ እና ደኅንነት አገልግሎት ዋና ዳይሬክተር ሆነው ተሾሙ።

አምባሳደር ሬድዋን የአገሪቱ የደኅንነት ተቋምን እንዲመሩ የተሾሙት በዛሬው ዕለት ምክትል ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር የሆኑትን አቶ ተመስገን ጥሩነህን በመተካት ነው።

ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ዛሬ ጥር 30/ 2016 ዓ.ም ከአምባሳደር ሬድዋን በተጨማሪ ትዕግሥት ሐሚድን የኢንፎርሜሽን መረብ ደኅንነት አስተዳደር ዋና ዳይሬክተር አድርገው መሾማቸውን ከጽህፈት ቤታቸው የወጣው መረጃ ያመለክታል።

በባለፉት ጥቂት ዓመታት የጠቅላይ ሚኒስትሩ የብሔራዊ ደኅንነት አማካሪ የነበሩት አምባሳደር ሬድዋን ሁሴን የትግራይን ጦርነት ለመቋጨት በደቡብ አፍሪካ እና በኬንያ በተካሄዱት ድርድሮች ላይ የፌደራሉ መንግሥት ዋነኛ ተደራዳሪ ነበሩ።

በተጨማሪም ከኦሮሞ ነጻነት ሠራዊት ጋር በታንዛንያ በተደረጉት ሁለት ዙር ድርድሮች ላይም መንግሥትን ወክለው መደራደራቸው ይታወቃል።

Ambassador Redwan Hussain, former National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister, has been appointed as the Director General of the National Intelligence and Security Service.

Ambassador Redwan was appointed to head the country’s security agency today, replacing Temeseng Tiruneh, who is the deputy prime minister.

The information from his office indicates that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today, January 30/2016, appointed Tugst Hamid as the Director General of Information Network Security Management in addition to Ambassador Redwan.

In the past few years, Ambassador Redwan Hussain, who was the National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister, was the main negotiator of the federal government in the negotiations held in South Africa and Kenya to end the Tigray war.

It is also known that they negotiated on behalf of the government in the two rounds of negotiations with the Oromo Liberation Army in Tanzania.
