Former US President Donald Trump has been ordered to pay nearly $355 million to the state of New York in a fraud case.

Trump has also faced other charges, including providing false information to banks about his assets.

Judge Arthur Ingoron, who delivered the verdict, also banned Trump and his company from requesting loans from financial institutions in New York for the next three years, and from serving as directors of their companies in New York.

In addition to him, his two sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., have been banned from holding positions at Trump organizations in New York.

Trump’s charges include repeated fraud, filing false business records, filing false financial reports and insurance fraud.
