ሶማሊያ ከኢትዮጵያ ጋር ያላትን ዲፕሎማሲያዊ ግንኙነት ለማቋረጥ በመወሰን በአገሪቱ የሚገኙ የኢትዮጵያ አምባሳደር እና ዲፕሎማቶች ለቀው እንዲወጡ ስታዝ አዲስ አበባ ያሉትን አምባሳደሯን ጠርታለች።

የሶማሊያ የሚኒስትሮች ምክር ቤት ያሳለፈውን ውሳኔ ተከትሎ የአገሪቱ የውጭ ጉዳይ እና ዓለም አቀፍ ግንኙነት ሚኒስቴር ይፋ እዳደረገው በሶማሊያ የኢትዮጵያ አምባሳደር ሙክታር ሞሐመድ ዋሬ በ72 ሰዓታት ውስጥ ሞቃዲሾን ለቀው እንዲወጡ አዛለች።

በተጨማሪም ከሶማሊያ ነጻ አገርነቷን ባወጀችው ሶማሊላንድ እና በከፊል ራስ ገዟ ፑንትላንድ ውስጥ የሚገኙት ቆንስላ ጽህፈት ቤቶች በሰባት ቀናት ውስጥ እንዲዘጉ መወሰኑን ሚኒስቴር መሥሪያ ቤቱ ባወጣው መግለጫ አመልክቷል።

በተመሳሳይም ሶማሊያ በአዲስ አበባ የሚገኙትን አምባሳደሯን “ለአጠቃላይ ምክክር” ከኢትዮጵያ ለቀው እንዲወጡ መታዘዛቸው ተገልጿል።

የሶማሊያ ባለሥልጣናትን ጠቅሶ ውሳኔውን የዘገበው ሮይተርስ የዜና ወኪል የሶማሊያን ውሳኔ በተመለከተ የኢትዮጵያ የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር ቃል አቀባይ ነብዩ ተድላን ጠይቆ የነበረ ቢሆንም መረጃ እንደሌላቸው ገልጸው ነበር።

የሶማሊያ መንግሥት የውጭ ጉዳይ እና ዓለም አቀፍ ትብብር ሚኒስቴር ውሳኔውን በተመለከተ ባወጣው መግለጫ “በቅርቡ የተከሰቱ ሁኔታዎችን መሠረት በማድረግ እና የአገሪቱን ሉዓላዊነት እና የግዛት አንድነትን መሠረት አድርጎ” በርካታ ዲፕሎማሲያው እርምጃዎችን መውሰዱን ገልጿል።

Somalia has decided to sever diplomatic relations with Ethiopia and ordered the Ethiopian ambassador and diplomats in the country to leave and summoned the ambassador in Addis Ababa.

Following the decision of the Somali Council of Ministers, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations announced that the Ethiopian ambassador to Somalia, Mukhtar Mohamed Ware, was ordered to leave Mogadishu within 72 hours.

In addition, it has been decided to close the consulates in Somaliland, which has declared its independence from Somalia, and in the semi-autonomous Puntland within seven days, the ministry said in a statement.

Similarly, Somalia has ordered its ambassador in Addis Ababa to leave Ethiopia for “general consultations”.

Reuters news agency, which reported the decision by quoting Somali officials, asked the Ethiopian Foreign Minister’s spokesman, Nebiu Tedla, about Somalia’s decision, but he said he did not have any information.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of Somalia regarding the decision, it stated that “based on the recent events and on the basis of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”, it has taken several diplomatic measures.
