በደቡባዊ ሶማሊያ በምትገኘው ጌዶ ክልል ውስጥ ታጣቂዎች በፈጸሙት ጥቃት ቢያንስ ሰባት ኢትዮጵያውያን ሲገደሉ በርካቶች ስጋት ውስጥ መሆናቸው ተገለጸ።

በሶማሊያ የኢትዮጵያውያን ማኅበረሰብ ተወካይ ለቢቢሲ እንደተናገሩት ሶማሊያ ከኬንያ ጋር በምትዋሰንበት ድንበር አቅራቢያ በምትገኘው በለደሀዎ ከተማ በተፈጸመው ኢትዮጵያውያን ስጋት ላይ እንደሆኑና በርካቶች ወደ አገር ቤት መመለስ ይፈልጋሉ ብለዋል።

ታጣቂዎቹ ሌሊት በጌዶ ክልል በለደሀዎ በተባለ ወረዳ ውስጥ ኢትዮጵያውያኑ ወደ ሚኖሩበት ቤት በመግባት በፈጸሙት ጥቃት ሦስት ሴቶች እና ሦስት ወንዶችን ሲገድሉ አንድ ሶማሊያዊም መገደላቸውን ቢበሲ ሶማሊኛ ዘግቧል።

ለደኅንነቱ በመስጋት ስሙ እንዳይጠቀስ የጠየቀው የማኅብረሰብ መሪ ደግሞ ቅዳሜ ሌሊት ስድስት እንዲሁም እሁድ ሌሊት አንድ በተለያዩ ሥራዎች ላይ የተሰማሩ ኢትዮጵያውያን መገደላቸውን ተናግረዋል።

የበለደሀዎ አስተዳዳሪ አብዲራሺድ አብዲ ግድያው ሌሊት ዘጠኝ ሰዓት መፈጸሙ የታወቀው፣ የአካባቢው የፀጥታ ባልደረቦች የተኩስ ድምጽ ከሰሙ በኋላ ሰባት ሰዎች ተገድለው በማግኘታቸው መሆኑን ጠቅሰው፣ ማቾቹ በአጠቃላይ ለሥራ የመጡ ስደተኞች ናቸው ብለዋል።

“ከተገደሉት መካከል ሁለቱ ሕጻናት ሲሆኑ፣ እናት እና አባቷ ተገድለውባት ብቻዋን የቀረች ሕጻንም አለች” ያሉት የማኅበረሰብ መሪው፣ የተገደሉት ኢትዮጵያውያን ቤተሰቦች መርዶውን እንዳልሰሙ እና እስከ ሰኞ ከሰዓት በኋላ ቀብራቸው አልተፈጸመም ብለዋል።

“የተገደሉት ሰዎች ወደ አገራቸው ተመልሰው በሥነ ሥርዓት ቀብራቸው እንዲፈጸም እንፈልጋለን። መንግሥት ይህን ማድረግ ይችላል። ለተገደሉትም ፍትሕ እንዲሰፍንም እንፈልጋለን።”

At least seven Ethiopians have been killed in an attack by militants in the Gedo region of southern Somalia, and many others are in danger.

A representative of the Ethiopian community in Somalia told the BBC that Ethiopians are under threat and many want to return home because of the incident in the city of Ledhao, which is located near the border of Somalia and Kenya.

The gunmen attacked a house where the Ethiopians live in a district called Beldehao in the Gedo region at night and killed three women and three men while one Somali was killed, BBC Somali reported.

The community leader, who asked not to be named out of fear for his safety, said that six Ethiopians were killed on Saturday night and one on Sunday night.

Abdirashid Abdi, the administrator of Baldehao, said that the killing happened at 9:00 p.m., when the local security team found seven people dead after hearing gunshots.

“Two of those killed were children, and there was a child whose mother and father were killed and there was a child who was left alone,” the community leader said.

“We want those who were killed to return to their country and be buried in a proper manner. The government can do this. We also want justice for those killed.”
