ሐማስ ያወጣው ቪዲዮ አንድ አሜሪካዊ እና አንድ እስራኤላዊ ታጋቾች በጋዛ በሕይወት እንደሚገኙ ማረጋገጫ ሆኗል ተባለ።

ቪዲዮ መቼ እንደተቀረጸ የተባለ ነገር ባይኖርም በቪዲዮ ላይ የሚታየው እስራኤላዊው ኦማሪ ሚራን ለ202 ቀናት ተይዞ መቆየቱን ይናገራል። አሜሪካዊው ኪዝ ሲጂል ደግሞ ከሳምንት በፊት የተከበረውን የአይሁዶች በዓል በንግግሩ ስለሚጠቅስ ቪዲዮ በቅርብ የተቀረጸ ስለመሆኑ አመላካች ሆኗል።

ሁለቱም ታጋቾች ሐማስ መስከረም 26/2016 ዓ.ም. እስራኤል ላይ ድንገተኛ ጥቃት በፈጸመ ወቅት ነበር ታግተው ወደ ጋዛ የተወሰዱት።

ቪዲዮውን ተከትሎ የታጋቾቹ ቤተሰቦች የእስራኤል መንግሥት ታጋቾቹን ነጻ ለማውጣት ከሐማስ ጋር ድርድር እንዲያደርግ ጠይቀዋል።

ሐማስ የታጋቾቹን ምስል ያወጣው በእስራኤል እና ሐማስ መካከል አዲስ የተኩስ አቁም ስምምነት ድርድር እየተደረገ መሆኑ በተገለጸበት ወቅት ነው።

ሁለቱን አካላት እያግባባች ያለችው ግብጽ አደራዳሪዎቿን ወደ እስራኤል መላኳ ተሰምቷል።

ሐማስ እና እስራኤል የሚያደርጉት ድርድር የሚሳካ ከሆነ ዘላቂ ባይሆንም እስራኤል በደቡባዊ ጋዛ በምትገኘው ራፋ ለማድረግ ያቀደችውን ወታደራዊ የምድር ዘመቻ አስቁሞ በጋዛ የተያዙ ታጋቾችን ነጻ ያወጣል።

A video released by Hamas has confirmed that one American and one Israeli hostage are alive in Gaza.
